The following paintings are from the exhibition entitled "Ode to Mukhtar" that took place at the Mahmoud Mukhtar Museum in Zamalek, Cairo from: February 15 - March 1, 2005. The inspiration comes from the famous Egyptian sculptor, Mahmoud Mukhtar. His works carried various messages of strength, heritage and womanhood. Read a breif bio of Muhkhtar here.
